The Writing Studio is a small business based in the tropical Far North Queensland town of Cairns. It is owned and operated by Cassie Roads, a copywriter, editor and teacher who is passionate about helping others expand their futures, express themselves with creativity and credibility, and feel confident in pursuing their purpose.

Our Journey

This freelance venture started in 2015 on the Sunshine Coast with a vision to support small-business owners in the health and wellness industry with copy-writing and marketing. After a hiatus and overhaul, this business evolved into The Writing Studio in 2023, with a refined focus on writing and editing for businesses and professional creatives.

​

Today, The Writing Studio specialises in enhancing copy for professionals in the wellness, health and hospitality industries, and polishing creative writers' manuscripts. We dedicate our many years of tertiary studies and experience in creative writing, journalism, communication, the English language, professional editing and small business management to supporting others' successes. Our writers and editors seek to create meaningful experiences for our clients and their audiences; promote purposeful connection and authentic confidence; and use our words and expertise to bring every client's vision to life.
